ENGAGMENT OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER/JUNIOR ENGINEERS ON CONTRACT BASIS
Applicatio in the prescribed format are invited from Aes/Jes or above retired
from CPWD/State PWD/PSUs for filling up post of A.E/J.Es. on contractual basis
in U.P.region of ESIC on fixed remuneration. The other details are as under:-
1) No. Of Posts :- A.E. 01 (Civil)
J.E. 02 (Civil - 01 , Electrical – 01.)
2) Maximum Age Limit :- Not more then 64 years as on 30.06.07.
3) Qualifications :- For Assistant Engineer.
(1) Degree/Diploma in civil engineering from recognized university institution. Only persons who were A.E. or above at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD department/public sector undertaking will be considered.
For Junior Engineer.
(1) Diploma in civil/Electrical engineering form recognized university/institution. Only retired person who have served as J.Es.or above at the time of retirement from Central/State/public sector undertakings are to be considered.
4) Duration of Engagement :-
The contractual appointment will be for one year initially extendable upto 03 years based on the performance. The selected candidate can be engaged upto 03 years or upto the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. The selected candidate will have to sign an agreement with ESIC.
5) Remuneration and other Conditions :-
For AE. - Rs. 15,000/- (consolidated ) per month.
For J.E. - Rs. 10,000/- (consolidated ) per month.
In addition , they can be allowed T.A./D.A. for tour undertaken for official work a the rates applicable to regular A.E./J.Es. No other perks/benefirs such as H.R.A., C.C.A. transport allowance, medical re- imbursement will be applicable. They will be entitled for a maximum of one day leave for every completed month’s service in addition to government holidays no other leave with pay will be payable.

Through personal interview.

10) The following documents should be attached with the application.
(a) Self attested copies of certificate and testimonials proof of age/date of birth /educational qualification/caste/Experience etc.
(b) Self address envelope of the size 23 cm. X 10 cm.
11) General Conditions :-
(I) An eligible candidate may submit separate application for both the posts.
(II) Mere submission of application does not confer any right to be called for interview.
(III) Incomplete/Unsigned application & application received late will not be accepted/may be rejected with any communication to the application.
(IV) No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate including SC/ST for appearing in the interview.
(V) Wrong declaration/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead for cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
